Training Opportunity for writers

Do you know any aspiring writers who’d like to make a living – full or part-time – from their writing, or would you? Stòrlann is running a week-long course in the legendary Cèilidh Place in Ullapool from 14-18 September, for a token charge of £50 to participants (full board). All you need to do is send us your CV and a letter telling us why you’d be interested in the course, and the outline of a short story for teenagers. We’ll ask those who secure a place to develop a story based on this outline during the week with support from workshop leaders and we will publish the stories in a new collection in 2010.
