Stòrlann welcomes Catriona Murray who has recently joined the organisation in the new role of Development Officer for Quality Assurance. Catriona has been a teacher in Tain Royal Academy for many years and she is a very experienced translator having worked in this capacity for Am Baile (The Gaelic Village), Highland Council and Cànan Ltd.
Chief Executive Mairi Kidd extended a warm welcome to Catriona who is already well known to Stòrlann, having undertaken considerable work over the years.
Catriona has a good understanding of the requirements of pupils and teachers and for translation and with her input the quality of Stòrlann resources will be enhanced. Training will also be provided for contractors who write and translate for us at different levels.
