Fuasgail agus Freagair – Maths Big Books - Uamh nan Cnàmhan
Stòrlann Nàiseanta na Gàidhlig is delighted to bring you a new Primary maths resource. Following requests from teachers for more problem-solving materials we have adapted three books from Kingscourt. The books are aimed at the early stages in the following order of difficulty: orange, green, pink. We hope that the pupils like the books and that teachers find them useful. Work has now started on the next four books in the series and we hope to have them with you by the end of the year.
Teejay Maths Level D
We are delighted to bring you Teejay Maths Level D in Gaelic. The Gaelic version was produced after requests from Secondaries for Maths materials other than Heinemann. Thanks to Sgoil Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu for their part in the translation. Teejay Level F is currently being produced in Gaelic too along with Homework and Assessment materials. We hope to have Level F in schools by August. We hope that pupils and teachers like the book and find it useful.
Uamh nan Cnàmhan
Stòrlann Nàiseanta na Gàidhlig is delighted to bring you a new novel. It is aimed at the upper primary and is written by Anne and Donald John Morrison. The story is based around Joe and Lila, siblings who are in care and Alan Douglas, a geologist, who they meet in Sutherland. Various issues arise in the story including the care system, history, geography and safety . We hope that the children enjoy the story and that it helps to develop their Gaelic.
