Tobar an Dualchais Event for Teachers

Tobar an Dualchais is hosting an event in Inverness where teachers can find out more about the project and how the sound recordings can be used across the Curriculum for Excellence. There will also be an opportunity to test and give feedback on the new website currently being developed.
The event will take place at Millburn Academy, Diriebught Road, Inverness on Saturday 20 June from1.30pm to 4.00pm.

Tobar an Dualchais is a project which is currently cataloguing and digitising thousands of Gaelic and Scots oral recordings from all over Scotland, in order to make them available online. These recordings include a wealth of songs, stories, music, poetry, history, folklore and traditions.
